Hello and Thank You for visiting Heidi Olley Photography.
I have been a Professional Photographer since graduating from James Cook University, Townsville in 1996.
For as long as I can remember, I have had a strong passion for photography…after all it’s in my genes, both my father and my grandfather were avid photographers, I consider myself fortunate to have experienced and achieved a long standing career doing what I love most!
I have a genuine passion for people, places and pictures. I love to travel and source locations that are unique to each subject. I aim to bring a unique combination of creative skills, award winning photographic vision and simple creativity within an environment.
My career highlights feature state, national and international photography awards. In 1998 I was awarded the prestigious title of Queensland Professional Photographer of the Year, and Queensland Professional Portrait Photographer of the year, the Highest Scoring Black and White Print Award.
My photographic journey has enabled me to explore all genres of Portrait, Landscape, Wedding and Fine Art Photography. I have also exhibited through out various state and regional galleries in Australia, and have been invited to judge both state and nationally with the AIPP.
